Job summary

Chichester College Group in Haywards Heath is seeking a Technician in Visual Arts & Media to support teaching staff and manage the teaching environment, equipment and resources. This part-time, on-site role focuses on ensuring safe, well-maintained spaces for visual arts and media education.

The role requires reliability, relevant knowledge and strong communication across a diverse group of people, with a view to maintaining efficient operations and responsive stock handling.

Qualifications

  • Must have Level 2 literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the department’s teaching staff with technical and administrative tasks

  • Process purchase orders and maintain stock levels on material

As our Technician in Visual Arts & Media you will:
  • Support the department’s teaching staff with technical and administrative tasks

What you will bring to the role:
  • To be a reliable and enthusiastic team player
  • Relevant industry and / or subject knowledge
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in literacy and numeracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels
