Job summary

Chichester College Group is seeking a Horticulture Resource Coordinator for Brinsbury campus. The role focuses on supporting curriculum delivery, leading innovative growing practices and developing horticultural talent.

You will manage resources, supervise learners, ensure health and safety, and oversee budgets. The post emphasizes flexible working arrangements and a collaborative environment at a historic countryside campus.

Qualifications

Horticulture Resource Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced horticultural professional to play a key role in supporting curriculum delivery, leading innovative growing practices and helping develop the next generation of horticultural talent.

As our Horticulture Resource Coordinator, you will:
  • Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.
  • Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.
  • Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.
  • Supervise apprentices and student workers, where required.
  • Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.

What you will bring to the role:
  • Relevant horticultural industry experience
  • A Level 2 qualification in Horticulture (or equivalent)
  • Experience supervising groups and supporting learners
  • Knowledge of horticultural health and safety legislation
  • Practical experience of machinery operation and horticultural practices
