Qualifications

• Experience in horticultural work and managing practical sessions.
• Ability to supervise groups and support learners in a classroom and workshop setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to horticulture.
• Experience operating horticultural machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.
• Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.
• Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.
• Supervise apprentices and student workers when required.
• Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.
