Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a healthcare facility in Warwick. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on-site, working with the on-site team and reporting to a senior engineer.

The role requires a plumbing or mechanical qualification and a proven track record in building maintenance. The position offers a competitive salary (£43,000), overtime where applicable, and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Plumbing or mechanical trade qualification required.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Copies of trade certificates to be provided on request.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant and equipment.
• Maintain pumps, motors, seals and bearings.
• Plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets, replacing taps and washers.
• Monitor BMS systems and temperature controls.
• Carry out M&E/Fabric maintenance and keep logbooks updated.
• Adhere to planned preventive and reactive maintenance regimes.
• Install/replace hot water cylinders, pipes, boilers and related components.
• Perform routine servicing and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Healthcare Environment – Warwick - £43,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Warwick has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a healthcare building in Warwick. He or she or they will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site, working closely with a senior member of the team and the small team on site.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have some experience in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime, plenty of further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Logbooks
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers
• Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
