Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role in automotive.
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication.
• Organisational skills with IT proficiency; Kerridge/Keyloop desirable.
• Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Able to work in a team and handle admin duties accurately.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to ensure high satisfaction and service quality.
• Manage booking in and scheduling of vehicle servicing in line with workshop capacity.
• Keep customers informed of progress proactively and accurately.
• Identify needs, produce quotations, estimates, and invoices.
• Explain work carried out to customers and highlight additional service opportunities.
• Produce warranty job cards following manufacturer policies.
• Record work requirements, categorising retail, warranty, internal, and non-chargeable repairs.
• Liaise with Parts to ensure availability of required parts.
• Assist in assessing vehicle issues and providing customer-focused solutions.

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• - Organisational skills with proficiency in IT; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is desirable
• - Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
• - Ability to work in a team environment, prioritise tasks, and handle administrative duties accurately
• - Knowledge of warranty procedures and commercial vehicle operations is advantageous but not essential
