Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager for a Good CQC-rated nursing home in the UK. You will lead a team to deliver compassionate, person-centred dementia care and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a nurse-qualified RM or an RM with a Level 5 Health & Social Care Leadership & Management qualification, and a strong background in challenging behaviours and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Registered Home Manager within a care home setting is essential.
• Nurse-qualified preferred; Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management may be considered.
• Strong background in dementia care and complex needs, with knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.
• Experience managing staffing, budgets, occupancy and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Set amongst acres of land in a peaceful and spacious setting, this Good CQC-rated nursing home provides specialist nursing and dementia care in a calm and supportive environment. The home is seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager who can provide confident, visible leadership while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and highly individualised care.

Ideally, you will be a nurse-qualified Registered Manager, although applications are also welcomed from experienced Registered Managers who hold a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care. You will need proven experience as a registered care home manager, along with a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. You should be confident leading and developing a team while maintaining high standards of care, compliance and person-centred practice.

The Experience We're Looking For

Proven experience as a

Registered Home Manager within a care home setting is essential.

Ideally

RGN or RMN qualified with an active NMC registration.

Alternatively, candidates holding a

Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management may be considered.

Previous experience within a

nursing home environment.

Strong experience supporting residents who may display

Good knowledge and experience of

dementia care and complex needs.

A strong understanding of

CQC regulations, inspections and quality standards.

Experience maintaining and improving standards within a regulated care environment.

Strong safeguarding knowledge and a clear understanding of risk management.

Ability to manage staffing, budgets, occupancy and operational performance.

Coach and support senior staff to strengthen leadership throughout the home.

Monitor quality and performance, implementing improvement plans where required.

Build positive relationships with residents and their families.

Manage budgets, staffing levels and resources effectively.

Support occupancy and the overall commercial performance of the service.
