Registered Care Home Manager - Residential & Nursing
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
CQC Rating: Good
Are you an experienced Registered Care Home Manager looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely shape the future of a service?
We are recruiting on behalf of an established care provider seeking an experienced and commercially aware Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized, Good-rated care home in East Sussex.
The home is an established residential and dementia service with a Good CQC rating, strong occupancy and an experienced team. The service is entering an exciting period of development, with plans to introduce nursing care for a small number of residents alongside its existing residential provision.
This represents an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a successful and well-established home while working closely with senior leadership to shape its next chapter and support the introduction of nursing care.
The successful candidate does not need to be a Registered Nurse, although previous experience managing or working within a nursing care environment would be highly advantageous.
As Registered Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, operational and commercial performance of the home.
Your focus will be on maintaining the home's Good CQC standards, strong occupancy and positive culture, while also leading it through its next stage of development.
Working closely with senior leadership and experienced clinical support, you will play an important role in introducing nursing provision into the service, ensuring the right staffing, governance and operational structures are in place.
The nursing element will form only part of the overall home, with the service remaining predominantly focused on residential and dementia care.
You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future staffing and leadership structure of the home, develop the existing team and ensure the service is appropriately prepared to support residents with increasingly complex needs.
