Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting for multiple Class 2 Drivers. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, you will drive lorries up to 26 tonnes, deliver stock to customers, and support loading/unloading with your team.

You will use local region knowledge to ensure timely deliveries while prioritising health and safety. Attractive benefits include a company bonus scheme and enhanced pension contributions.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of the local region.
• Manual handling training desirable; full induction training provided.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes and delivering stock to customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Using local region knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintaining health and safety as the guiding principle in all processes.
• Unloading stock at customer venues and reloading empty kegs into dray.

Job description

Working Hours: 46 Hours per week. Working predominately on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility required to work in 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary from 5am onwards.

Salary: £38,541 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:

Role Responsibilities:

Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.

Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.

Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.

Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.

Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Safely unloading stock at customers venues and reloading previously delivered, empty kegs into dray

Experience and Key Attributes:

A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.

Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.

Knowledge of local region.

Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
