Job summary

Carlsberg Group in Blackburn is recruiting multiple Class 2 Drivers for a permanent role. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, you will deliver stock to customers, assist the warehouse team, and foster strong customer relationships while prioritising health and safety.

Working 46 hours per week, predominantly Monday–Friday with 5 in 7 flexibility and 5am starts. Salary £38,541 with overtime at 1.5x. Generous benefits include pension, life assurance, bonus schemes, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of the local region; full induction training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers.
• Support Drivers Mates and Warehouse team with loading/unloading stock.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Use local knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Prioritise health and safety in all processes.
• Safely unload stock and reload empty kegs into dray.

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 46 Hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility required to work in 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary from 5am onwards.

Salary: £38,541 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the Role

Role Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
• Safely unloading stock at customers venues and reloading previously delivered, empty kegs into dray

Experience and Key Attributes

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
