Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers in Kettering to join our team and support store deliveries and collections with manual handling required.

You will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes, perform daily vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, and represent the company at client sites. Weekly pay and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence with 12 months experience.
• DCPC card and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Up to 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/CD/TT/IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.
• Ensure goods are loaded correctly and secured.
• Store deliveries and collections with Manual Handling.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.

Shifts: 7 day working operation - with AM and PM starts - Various shifts available to suit

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Kettering to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
• Ensure goods have been correctly loaded and are secure
• Store deliveries and collections with Manual Handling also
• Represent the company professionally at client sites

What You Need:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with 12 months experience
• A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and a valid Digital Tachograph card
• Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
• A professional attitude and good communication skills
