Job summary

HG Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 1 drivers in Kettering for days and nights with immediate starts. Earn competitive pay, weekly wages and ongoing/flexible shifts with our established client.

Store work with approximately 2/3 drops per shift over about 10 hours. Start times range from 04:00 to 22:00. Manual handling is required and shifts are ongoing with a minimum of 8 paid hours per shift.

Qualifications

• 12 months driving experience.
• Knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Store work with approximately 2/3 drops per shift.
• Shift length around 10 hours with 8+ paid hours.
• Adhere to driver hours rules and safety standards.

The role

• Store work
• Approximately 2/3drops per shift/ 10 hours
• Start times between 04.00 07:00and 18:00 22:00
• Manual handling required

• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• 12 months experience
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach
