Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking Class 1 Drivers in Dagenham to work with a client operating across the supply chain. Long-term shifts with part-time options available. Immediate starts, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime are advertised.

Applicants should have Class 1 licence, 12 months driving experience, UK DCPC, and a Digi-tacho card, with WTD compliance and residency in the UK. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Maximum 6 points accepted; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted.
• Driver must be up to date with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations).

Responsibilities

• Delivering to large stores and RDCs across the network.
• Some curtain sider work may be involved.
• Maintain compliance with UK road laws and tachograph rules.
• Be available for various shifts and travel to site as required.

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Dagenham to work with our client, who operate across the whole supply chain, handling all aspects of logistics from beginning to end.

This is a long-term opportunity with fixed shift patterns.

Employee Benefits:

Competitive Salary: £17.85 to £25.00 per hour

Days - £20.00 total hourly rate including holiday pay

Nights - £21.12 total hourly rate including holiday pay

Saturday - £24.00 total hourly rate including holiday pay

Sunday - £25.00 total hourly rate including holiday pay

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
