Job summary

Fuel Drivers UK Ltd in Dagenham is seeking a professional Class 1 LGV Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, perform daily checks, and ensure timely deliveries.

AM or PM shifts available with ongoing work; weekend work may be required. You must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC card, tachograph card, and a solid knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Flexible to AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle in accordance with all road transport regulations.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Adhere to driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
