Job summary

East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor for our Framlingham Shop. This role is essential to maximise income from donated goods, new products, Gift Aid, and eCommerce, while supporting the Shop Manager and our volunteer team.

Based in Framlingham (IP13 9DP), the shop operates on-site with weekend rotations. The post is permanent and part-time, paying £12.71 per hour. You will lead volunteers, maintain displays, and grow Gift Aid and online sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations or volunteer management is preferred.
• Ability to lead and inspire volunteers in a positive environment.
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager in achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of display, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Promote Gift Aid and help grow our eCommerce presence.
• Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive environment.
• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.

East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor at our Framlingham Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join EACH’s vibrant retail team and be an essential member of one of our charity shops to maximise income from donated goods, new products, Gift Aid, and eCommerce.

As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager, acting as Duty Manager in their absence. You’ll also help lead and inspire our amazing volunteer team, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.

Our Framlingham shop is one of EACH’s quirky and charming charity shops, set across two floors and located just a short walk from the main high street. It may be small, but it’s always bustling! We specialise in high-fashion, branded donations, giving you the chance to work with great-quality clothing and merchandise in a fun, energetic retail setting.
