Home Group Limited in Egham is seeking a Scheme Manager Non Residential to oversee retirement community buildings and ensure residents can live independently in their own homes.

You will manage schemes, engage residents, address calls, and work with contractors to maintain communal areas and services. The role emphasises safety, customer care, and collaboration with partners to support residents’ welfare.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing the scheme on behalf of residents, ensuring buildings are safe and meet safety standards.
• Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls and creating a welcoming environment.
• Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming for residents who socialise in shared spaces.
• Working with partner contractors for repairs and maintenance in communal areas; supporting sourcing local suppliers.
• Signposting residents to services to support welfare and improve lives.

This is a great job opportunity for you to join our leasehold retirement team as our Scheme Manager. You’ll ensure the smooth running of our retirement community by managing our buildings and ensuring our customers are always supported to live independently in their own home.

What you'll do

• Managing the scheme on behalf of our residents, ensuring that our buildings are safe, secure and meet required safety standards.
• Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls and providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment.
• Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming. Although our customers live independently, they like to get together regularly to socialise in our wonderful communal spaces.
• Working with partner contractors for any repairs and maintenance works required in communal living areas. You might also support sourcing suitable local suppliers.
• Signposting customers to relevant services to support their welfare and make a difference to their lives.

The practical bits

• There is some flexibility in the role, but the core working pattern is Monday to Friday.
• You may need to work occasional evenings too, to support our customers. The great news is that you’ll be able to shape your own diary.
• You must be able to use technology for updating records, completing online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
