Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the clinical, operational and regulatory performance of the nursing home
• Lead, motivate and develop nursing, care and support teams
• Maintain consistently high standards of safe and person-centred care
• Ensure the home remains fully compliant with CQC and wider regulatory requirements
• Use audits, quality monitoring and feedback to identify and drive improvements
• Maintain robust clinical governance and safeguarding practices
• Oversee recruitment, staffing levels, retention and team development
• Support managers and clinical colleagues to maintain strong practice throughout the home
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals
• Manage budgets and resources effectively while protecting care quality
• Promote a positive culture where colleagues feel supported and residents remain at the centre of decision‑making

Job description

We’re looking for an accomplished, nurse-qualified Nursing Home Manager with proven experience leading a nursing home and a strong track record of achieving positive CQC outcomes. This is a role for an experienced Registered Manager who understands how to balance clinical standards, regulatory compliance, team leadership and the successful day-to‑day operation of a home.

You’ll take overall responsibility for the service, providing visible and accountable leadership while continuing to strengthen quality and maintain consistently high standards of resident care.

What We’re Looking For
