Job summary

We have a new vacancy for a Vehicle Technician in Doncaster via Octane Recruitment Ltd. The role requires an experienced technician to join a leading UK main dealer group, with opportunities for progression and career development.

You will carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, with occasional MOT duties if qualified. A full UK driving license and relevant qualifications are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent).
• Level 2 qualification accepted with main dealership experience.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds in mechanical engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work.
• MOT testing duties (if qualified) and adherence to brand parameters.

Education

NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent)

Level 2 if main dealership experience

Salary – Up to £36,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime DOE & Qualifications

Days – Monday – Friday, Saturdays on a rota, 40 hours per week
