Qualifications

• Proven diagnostic experience in the motor trade.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2/3 in Motor Repair or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic repairs and fault finding on a range of passenger and commercial vehicles.
• Identify electrical faults using OEM and multi-brand diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and work completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to customers, ensuring high levels of customer service.

The duties of the Vehicle Technician will encompass:

• Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical/electronic systems, and ABS/airbag systems
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and multi-brand diagnostic tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair, or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to ongoing training and staying current with technological advances
