Job summary

Waterside in Chesham is seeking a Female Assistant Support Worker to help five adults live independently with person-centred care. You will support with daily living skills, personal care, and help individuals pursue personal goals in a dignified, empowering environment.

The role operates on a two-week rolling rota with weekend work and paid sleep-ins. A supportive team, training opportunities, and benefits are provided to promote long-term development.

Join our friendly team at Waterside, a supported living service for five adults, where you will help people live independently, achieve their goals and enjoy fulfilling lives.As an Assistant Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support that promotes choice, dignity and wellbeing. Whether supporting with personal care, developing daily living skills, encouraging community involvement or helping someone work towards their personal goals, you'll make a genuine difference every day. Working closely with colleagues, families and professionals, you'll help create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and able to thrive.

About You

You’ll be caring, reliable and motivated, with a genuine passion for supporting others. You'll enjoy building positive relationships, promoting independence and working as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Pattern

Two-week rolling rota:07:00 - 15:0014:00 - 22:00

You must be able to work every other weekend and complete sleep-in as required. Sleep-in are paid at an enhanced rate of £52.78 per sleep-in.
