Waterside, a Waterside supported living service, is seeking an Assistant Support Worker in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. This part-time role (30 hours per week) offers person-centred support to five adults to help them live independently and achieve goals.

Position: Female Assistant Support Worker
Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £20,982 per annum/£13.45 per hour
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

As an Assistant Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support that promotes choice, dignity and wellbeing. Whether supporting with personal care, developing daily living skills, encouraging community involvement or helping someone work towards their personal goals, you'll make a genuine difference every day. Working closely with colleagues, families and professionals, you'll help create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and able to thrive.
You’ll be caring, reliable and motivated, with a genuine passion for supporting others. You'll enjoy building positive relationships, promoting independence and working as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Two-week rolling rota:
You must be able to work every other weekend and complete sleep-ins as required. Sleep-ins are paid at an enhanced rate of £52.78 per sleep-in.
The successful candidate must always maintain appropriate professional boundaries and understand their responsibilities in relation to positions of trust.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory right to work, enhanced DBS, reference and medical clearances.
