Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Service Advisor to join a small independent automotive business in Chertsey. You will combine service, estimating and workshop coordination to support customers and the workshop.

The role offers a basic salary up to £38,000, Monday to Friday hours 8:00am–6:00pm, with no weekends, and a supportive team environment. Candidates with strong automotive knowledge and the ability to prepare accurate repair estimates will thrive, with progression

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a smaller independent automotive business in Chertsey. Applicants must have strong automotive technical knowledge, including the ability to prepare accurate repair estimates, alongside experience across customer service, Aftersales and workshop coordination. Main dealership and independent garage backgrounds will both be considered. A Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Chertsey

Salary: Up to £38,000 basic

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, No Weekends

• Confidence preparing accurate service and repair estimates
• Good understanding of automotive parts and workshop processes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage a broad workload within a smaller team
• Main dealership or independent garage experience will be considered
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential
• Right to work in the UK
