Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy Carmarthen dealership. You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, and work as part of a dedicated workshop team.

Role offers regular hours Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am–1:00pm, a salary up to £35,000 dependent on experience, plus a performance bonus up to £7,200, and overtime paid at 1.25x. Generous holiday entitlement and staff discounts are included.

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership group operating throughout South West Wales, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Carmarthen dealership. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality service and repairs. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the dealership’s standards by diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.

Duties:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
• Maintain full adherence to quality procedures laid out by both the client and vehicle manufacturers
• Ensure all work is completed within safety and safety compliance standards
• Complete vehicle servicing and repairs promptly, contributing to high customer satisfaction levels
• Work effectively as part of a team in a high-demand dealership environment
• Assist in maintaining efficient workshop operations and achieving team targets

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification as a minimum
• At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
