Job summary

TEC Partnership is seeking an ICT Technician to provide reliable, customer-focused IT support within a Further or Higher Education environment, based at East Riding College, Bridlington. You will assist staff and students with ICT issues, maintain systems and learning technologies, and support classroom and AV setups.

Applicants should have literacy and numeracy at Level 2 and be able to document work, contribute to team goals, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first and second-line IT support in education or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to document processes and contribute to service improvement.
• Ability to work in a team and support staff and students with ICT issues.

About the role

We are seeking an ICT Technician to provide reliable, customer-focused IT support within a Further or Higher Education environment. The role involves delivering first and second-line technical support for staff and students, maintaining ICT systems, networks, devices, and learning technologies, and providing classroom and audio-visual support to underpin teaching, learning, and assessment.

The postholder will support user account and device management, promote secure and appropriate use of ICT in line with safeguarding, GDPR, and health & safety requirements, and contribute to service improvement through effective documentation, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
