Tarmac Trading Limited in Birtley is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our ReadyMix team. You'll process orders, schedule deliveries, and deliver excellent service, balancing customer needs with logistics.

The role involves working with transport, logistics and production teams, coordinating haulage, and building strong relationships with suppliers while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, transport, logistics, distribution or route planning.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP and CRM experience desirable).
• A proactive approach with a desire to learn and improve.

We're looking for a

Customer Service Coordinator

to join our ReadyMix team in

Birtley

. You'll play a key role in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operation.

Whatyou'llbe doing

Receiving and processing ReadyMix concrete orders

Scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements

Providing customers with updates and outstanding service

Working closely with transport, logistics and production teams

Coordinating third-party haulage and ensuring compliance standards are met

Building strong relationships with haulage suppliers and stakeholders

Supporting medium and long-term planning to meet customer demand

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 7am–5pm.Rotational Shift Pattern (7-4pm & 8-5pm)Saturday Mornings Rotational ifrequired
