Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician to join the Billingham team on a night-shift rota. You will inspect, diagnose and repair vans and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness and high uptime.

You’ll utilise diagnostic tools, prepare vehicles for MOT and contribute to a safety-first culture. The role offers overtime, training in HGV applications, and clear opportunities for career progression within a reputable UK-wide network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician with Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience working with vans/HGVs or both
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair commercial vehicles, including vans and heavy goods vehicles, to industry standards
• Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Perform general mechanical and electrical repairs
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and presentation
• Attend breakdowns and offsite repairs as needed
• Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining vehicle reliability and availability

• Own set of tools suitable for commercial vehicle repairs
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work night shifts on a scheduled rota, including weekends as required
