Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician (HGVs) to join a well-known dealership in Nottingham. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £50K-£60K DOE plus a 15% shift premium and overtime.

Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance, experience working on commercial trucks and vans, and a full UK driving licence. Brand certified qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance required.
• Experience servicing and diagnosing commercial trucks and vans.
• Full, valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial trucks and vans.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation, safety checks, and defect repairs.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet productivity and quality standards.
