Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative at Warcop Camp, Appleby in Westmorland, Cumbria. You will maintain grounds and buildings, support with Ammunition Stores, and assist service users to ensure a safe, sustainable environment for training the Armed Forces.

Shifts are predominantly Thurs & Fri, 07:30–15:30 with some weekends; salary £13.99 per hour. BPSS/SC clearance may apply, located in a rural site with a driving license required.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site.
• Fork lift licence would be advantageous but training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment.
• Operation and maintenance of plant equipment to include Fork lift (training will be provided)
• General building and Grounds maintenance
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be predominately responsible for assisting with the Ammunition Stores , typical tasks will include dealing with service users, maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.
