As our Health and Social Care Trainer, you'll take the lead on staff development across SEA. You'll design and deliver engaging, accessible training, coordinate our wider training programmes, and make sure every team member has what they need to do their job safely and well - from day one induction through to ongoing refreshers.
What you'll be doing
Planning, preparing and delivering training, covering areas such as induction, health and safety, COSHH, manual handling, first aid, medication, fire safety, risk management, record keeping, infection control, food hygiene, professional boundaries, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults
Working with the Head of Operations to identify training needs and build a costed annual training plan
Creating engaging lessons and materials, ensuring training is accessible to all staff
Coordinating specialist external training (e.g. MAPA, Brain Injury Training, Mental Health Awareness, Deaf Awareness) and managing relationships with providers
Supporting staff on the Sign Up Scheme through their BSL Level 1 course
Liaising with apprenticeship and diploma providers, including claiming funding where available
