Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a Pricing Specialist to drive accurate pricing within Project Logistics, ensuring margins are maintained and services align with client scope.

You will work in a structured pricing team, cross-training across modes and cargo types to maximise profitability while meeting clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work in a structured team environment based on competencies of modes of transport and cargo type.
• Cross-train in all functions of the pricing team by mode of transport and cargo type.
• Ensure that all costing for services are as per the service level agreement and scope of work ordered.
• Responsible for having a strong sense of financial acumen for Project Logistics.
• Communicating clear scope of services requested to service providers when requesting pricing and options.
• Ensure you select the best service option maximizing profitability while delivering the clients expectations.
• Ensure the utilization of minimum selling margin while providing pricing.
• Foster a can-do spirit to build a solution-orientated attitude.

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for completing assigned pricing activities within the target timelinesset in Project Logistics guidelines. You willensure accurate pricing, as per the client's scope of services, with the minimum required margin applied, covering all service/supplier costs to allow the most profitable scenario to Project Logistic
