Job summary

Trafford Council in Greater Manchester is seeking an Advanced Senior Support Worker to lead reablement delivery, performing robust assessments in medication and moving and handling. You will manage referrals, undertake reviews, supervise staff, and contribute to audits and quality assurance activities.

This role blends hands-on practice with leadership responsibilities to influence service quality and improve residents’ lives in Trafford.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reablement/health or social care setting.
• Experience supervising and supporting staff.
• Strong assessment skills including medication management and moving and handling.
• Experience managing referrals and conducting reviews.
• Understanding of quality assurance and audits in a regulated environment.
