Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Reablement Support Worker to help people regain independence and develop skills at home and in the community. This permanent, part-time role (22 hours per week) sits in the Place Health & Adult Social Care service, with agile working and a 6-week rolling rota.

You will engage with vulnerable people, build collaborative links with their support networks and partner agencies, and work across the borough during core hours 7am–10pm.

Qualificações

• Ability to engage with vulnerable people.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with personal support networks and partner agencies.
• Flexible in fulfilling service demands.
• A driving license and access to a car.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients regain independence and learn new skills to live as independently as possible.
• Help clients gain confidence and develop social connections to meet aspirations.
• Work seven days a week including bank holidays; core hours 7am–10pm; community/home settings.
