Are you an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher with a passion for Religious Education and Citizenship?

Trust Education are seeking a talented and dedicated teacher to join one of our excellent partner secondary schools in the Barnsley area, on an ongoing full-time basis.

Role and Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in RE and Citizenship across KS3 and KS4.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to succeed.

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and commitment to raising attainment.

Uphold the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

Contribute fully to school life, including departmental activities and meetings.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching RE and / or Citizenship within a UK secondary school.

A valid Enhanced DBS registeredੋਗ on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

A genuine passion for helping young people develop their knowledge and understanding of the wider world.
