Qualifications

Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant

Location: Leicester, East Mids

Pay: £17.00 p/h Flat Rate

Hours: Minimum of 36 Hours per week.

Role Overview

As a Rapid Response Care Assistant, you will be at the forefront of supporting individuals during crucial transitions, such as hospital discharges, crisis management, and care package adjustments. This role demands quick thinking, flexibility, and a compassionate approach as you provide exceptional care to individuals with a wide range of complex needs. These can include, but are not limited to, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, locked-in syndrome, rehabilitation, and motor neurone disease. In addition to delivering high-quality clinical care, your duties may also involve assisting clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, and toileting, as well as helping with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning, and movement.

Person Specification
Essential
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a care environment or a similar role.

Additional Information

Enhanced DBS check required: A full and satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check is a condition of employment.

Probationary Period: 6 months, during which regular reviews and 1:1 meetings will be held by your manager.

Training: A 6-day paid induction course at your local office, paid at minimum wage. Additional eLearning modules, also paid at minimum wage.

Mileage will be reimbursed at £0.28 per mile from the first mile, and travel ticket expenses are also covered.

Shifts & Flexibility

Rotational shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure full coverage. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on client needs and staffing arrangements.

24-Hour Support Line

You will have access to our 24-hour support line, including clinical advice for emergency situations.

Location

Komplex Care Limited, clients' homes, with travel required to other locations at the discretion of the company, and with prior notice.
