Job summary

Komplex Care Limited in Leicester is seeking a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to support clients during hospital discharges, crises and care package adjustments, delivering clinical care to individuals with complex needs such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, motor neurone disease, and more.

You will deliver high-quality clinical care, assist with personal care tasks, and help with safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience in a care environment or a similar role.
• Resilience to stay calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., CQC standards, health and safety).

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive care during hospital discharges, emergencies, and care package breakdowns.
• Keep clinical skills current with ongoing training and developments in care practices.
• Deliver personalised care to clients with complex needs, including spinal cord injury, brain injury, motor neurone disease, and more.
• Assist with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, eating, toileting) and provide safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning support.
• Maintain a calm and professional approach in high-pressure situations.
