Job summary

Komplex Care in Birmingham is seeking a Care Assistant to work 48-hour shifts with sleep nights, providing hands‑on, nurse‑led care in the client’s home. You will support adults with lifelong clinical needs, helping them live safely and comfortably at home, with detailed clinical care plans and ongoing nurse‑led oversight.

You will join a dedicated team delivering specialist care, including personal care, medication administration, and monitoring of clinical conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently.
• Basic IT skills for communication and record‑keeping.

The Role

Role: Care Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 48 hour shift, sleep nights. 4 days off
Pay rate: £12.71 sleep nights, £13.00 days

You’ll care for an adult in Birmingham working a 48 hour shift with sleep nights, then you will have 4 days off, you will provide safe and consistent care in their own home. They live with a spinal cord injury and require support with their day to day routine and activities. Your Role as a Care Assistant

You’ll join a dedicated, nurse-led team providing hands‑on care for individuals with lifelong and potentially life‑critical clinical needs. This is NOT standard domiciliary care. You’ll follow detailed clinical care plans, monitor changes in the individual’s condition and perform the specialist interventions needed to keep them safe, stable and comfortable at home.
