Job summary

Komplex Group in Birmingham is seeking a Care Assistant to provide hands-on care in a home setting. You will support adults with lifelong and complex needs, including medication administration, clinical observations, and daily living tasks, while following strict care protocols.

We value compassionate, dependable staff who can work nights and days on a 48-hour shift pattern with four days off, and who are able to maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with the care team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently.
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.
• Genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care.

Role: Care Assistant

• Location: Birmingham
• Hours: 48 hour shift, sleep nights. 4 days off
• Payrate: £12.71 sleep nights, £13.00 days

You’ll care for an adult in Birmingham working a 48 hour shift with sleep nights, then you will have 4 days off, you will provide safe and consistent care in their own home.

They live with a spinal cord injury and require support with their day to day routine and activities. Beyond their clinical needs, they enjoy sports, movies social activities and you’ll help them enjoy the things that matter most to them safely.
