Job summary

Rail Gourmet, at Newcastle Central Station, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant for TransPennine Express. The role is full-time (39 hours) with a pay rate of £13.65 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ for certain shifts, and a DBS check may be required.

Rotational shifts include early mornings to evenings and some weekends. You will load/unload catering equipment, assemble orders, and ensure stock control while following Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or over for certain tasks/shifts.
• A DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate platform trucks for train-side deliveries (full training provided).
• Load/offload catering equipment and stock from TPE trains.
• Assemble orders and manage stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
