Job summary

Rail Gourmet in Newcastle upon Tyne is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant for TransPennine Express at Newcastle Central Station. You will work full-time 39 hours a week, with shifts from 5:30am to 10pm, including some weekends, and a pay rate of £13.65 per hour.

You’ll be responsible for operating platform trucks for train-side deliveries, loading and unloading catering equipment and stock from TPE trains, order assembly and stock control, and ensuring Health & Safety and Food Hygiene

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or over for certain shifts.
• DBS check required after a successful application.

Responsibilities

• Operating platform trucks for train-side deliveries (Full training provided).
• Loading/offloading catering equipment/stock from TPE trains.
• Order assembly and stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene Regulations.
