Job summary

Rail Gourmet is hiring an On Board Host for TransPennine Express at Manchester Station on weekends. The role is part-time (16 hours) with a pay rate of £13.65 per hour plus commission and rotating shifts from 4:30am to 11:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities include providing at-seat trolley service, assisting passengers, achieving sales targets, and handling stock and transactions. Full training will be provided; DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years in a customer-facing role within Retail, Leisure & Hospitality.
• Full training will be provided.
• Must be 18+ to perform certain tasks or shifts.

• Travel on assigned trains and assist passengers, aiming to meet sales targets.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, maintain hygiene and safety standards.

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Manchester Station. (Weekends only)

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission

Hours: Part Time (16 hours)

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 4:30am and 11:30pm every Saturday & Sunday

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.

Full Training will be provided.

As an On Board Host You'll:

• Provide 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing stock, and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assisting passengers, achieving sales targets independently, and meeting contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, adhere to hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.
