Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a Health and Safety, CDM Specialist to support our rail and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will lead safety, SHEQ and CDM guidance within multi-disciplinary teams, driving risk management and system adoption.

The role requires auditing experience, knowledge of relevant standards, and strong stakeholder management. A rail and wider industry background is preferred, with commitment to safety and best practices.

Qualifications

• CMaPS or MIIRSM membership is expected.
• NEBOSH certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHAS 18001 / ISO 45001 auditing is required.
• Proven health and safety leadership across rail, transport and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership, SHEQ, CDM guidance to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop, implement and adopt SHEQ and CDM management systems and contract strategies.
• Lead audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 where needed.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and support commercial and staff performance.
