Job summary

WSP is seeking a Health and Safety, CDM Specialist to lead SHEQ and CDM guidance across major rail and infrastructure projects in the UK. You will support development and adoption of CDM management systems, manage risk, and lead audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

The role combines safety leadership with commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and people development within multi-disciplinary teams, with hybrid working and access to WSP’s Thrive programme and health

Qualifications

• Certified Member of Association of Project Safety (CMaPS) or MIIRSM membership.
• NEBOSH certification.
• Experience auditing OSHAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership, SHEQ and CDM guidance to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop, implement and adopt CDM management systems and contract strategies.
• Lead and respond to audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Apply knowledge of health and safety across rail, transport and infrastructure projects.
