Job summary

Carlisle Support Services, in partnership with Northern Trains, is seeking a Revenue Enforcement Officer in Leeds (LS9). This 40-hour per week role features a mix of start and finish shifts with pay at £13.58 per hour.

The job offers full induction, ongoing training, and structured career development to help you thrive in rail security and customer service. You’ll be the friendly face for customers, issuing penalties when required, and assisting with gate control and passenger support.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles or a desire to build those skills.
• Display friendly, approachable, and professional conduct in all interactions.
• Punctual, dependable, flexible, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and information to customers as a first point of contact.
• Issue penalty fares to travellers without correct travel method.
• Manage and control electronic ticket gates (training provided).
• Assist passengers who need extra support, guidance, or advice.
• Be a proactive, smart company representative.
• Handle incidents professionally and maintain calm under pressure.
• Build strong relationships within the team.
• Attend court as required to support prosecutions related to improper payment.
