Job summary

First Bus seeks a Rail Replacement Coordinator (operational, field-based, customer service) to supervise and coordinate rail replacement bus, events and coach services in the Hampshire area. You will ensure safety, assist passengers and maintain data via the coordination portal while upholding high vehicle standards and regulatory auditing.

This safety-critical, physically demanding role requires weekend work, flexible hours and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not essential.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Confident engaging drivers on regulations and adherence to PSVAR/PSVAIR.
• Great communicator who is enthusiastic and approachable.
• Patient, reliable and calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shift times, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate rail replacement bus, events and coach services.
• Ensure safety of passengers, colleagues and public.
• Provide assistance and information to passengers with high data quality in the coordination portal.
• Maintain high vehicle standards and regulatory auditing.
