CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) seeks an Overhaul Facility Production Manager to lead the facility and production operations for rail component overhauls in the UK. You will plan daily activities, drive safety and quality, and ensure 5S standards while coordinating with Engineering, Materials, and clients.

During the setup phase, you will review layouts, specify equipment, and ensure robust training, with a clear understanding of the Bill of Materials for related tasks.

Competenze

• Level 4/5 in Engineering is desirable; Level 3 with strong experience may also be considered.
• Significant experience in production and people management in heavy engineering or rail.
• Proven planning, leadership and timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage the overhaul facility and production operations for component overhauls (bogies, wheelsets, traction motors, gearboxes, etc).
• Plan day-to-day activities of the production team ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Ensure 5S, cleanliness, and organisation on the shop floor; coordinate with Engineering and Materials and clients.
• Support layout design, equipment specification, and robust training during the project setup.
• Assist with BOM awareness and training for applicable activities and tasks.
