Job summary

ARM, located in Central London, is seeking a Multi-Disciplinary Rolling Stock Project Engineer to support a Fleet Heavy Overhaul team. You will lead engineering activities, coordinate resources, and ensure safety-compliant overhaul projects are delivered to schedule.

The role requires experience in rail vehicle systems, safety-critical environments, and strong stakeholder management; Chartered Engineer status is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rail Vehicle Systems and rolling stock engineering across overhaul projects.
• Experience in safety-critical rail environments, e.g., London Underground.
• Ability to produce, review and analyse technical documentation.
• Knowledge of railway standards and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support rolling stock engineering activities across overhaul projects.
• Produce, review and analyse technical documentation.
• Coordinate engineering resources and mentor junior engineers.
• Engage with stakeholders and apply lifecycle engineering principles.
• Support testing, manufacturing and operation of rolling stock systems.
