Pure Talent Group is recruiting for an On-Track Maintenance Train Day Maintainer (Mechanical/Electrical Engineer). The role is field-based, covering Romford to Colchester, with a 39,000–43,000 base salary plus overtime, company van and full training.

You’ll maintain and service a specialist rail maintenance machine and travel to its location, often staying away when required. The successful candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, a time-served apprenticeship or recognised

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship or recognised Mechanical/Electrical qualification.
• Hands-on engineering maintenance and fault finding experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventive maintenance of the rail maintenance machine.
• Carry out daily and weekly maintenance activities.
• Support scheduled 1, 3 and 6-month maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and repair.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
