Job summary

Pure Talent Group is recruiting for an On-Track Maintenance Train Day Maintainer (Mechanical / Electrical Engineer). This field-based role covers Nottingham and wider Nottinghamshire, with a competitive £39,000–£43,000 salary, paid overtime, a company van and pension benefits.

You will perform planned maintenance on specialist On-Track Maintenance Trains, carrying out faults, servicing and routine inspections, while receiving full training and potential long-term career progression in rail

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience with mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems is beneficial.
• Happy to travel and work field-based across a regional area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and inspections on railway equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to ensure train readiness.
• Complete maintenance records and support rail competence training.
