Job summary

Pure Talent Group is seeking Dublin-based? No, UK-based field engineers to maintain and service on-track maintenance trains across the Central Belt. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled maintenance with full training provided.

You will be working in a mobile, field-based setting, responsible for day-to-day condition, preventative maintenance, and reliability of assigned machines. Training and progression are emphasised throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Time-served apprenticeship or recognised mechanical/electrical qualification.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems is desirable.
• Comfortable working in field-based roles and with complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and daily/weekly checks.
• Carry out fault-finding and minor repairs on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Record maintenance activities accurately and update documentation.
• Support other engineers with repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Travel to allocated machines and coordinate parts and supplies.
