Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Training & Development Specialist with Networks & Telecoms experience to deliver and update training materials for our Networks and Communication Infrastructure Systems (CIS) team. The role involves planning and implementing product-related training for internal and external clients, with frequent UK travel and overnight stays.

You will design, develop and deliver technical training, update e-learning content, and work with internal teams and customers to tailor

Qualifications

• Having a HNC in a STEM discipline, or equivalent industrial or engineering experience.
• Developing technical training materials, strategies and teaching / mentoring others.
• Having excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Great organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in virtual teams.
• Installing and Jointing Cables (Copper or Fibre)
• Experience with video processing and transmission systems

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility.
• Creating and updating course material, including e‑learning content, to ensure alignment with new technologies and customer needs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Supporting the senior trainers with the development of responses to project bids.
• Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development.
