Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the UK is seeking a Training & Development Specialist with Networks & Telecoms experience to deliver and update training material for our Networks and CIS systems within Rail Infrastructure. You will support planning and implementing product-related training for clients, both internal and external.

You will liaise with senior trainers and departments to stay current with new technology, helping develop the training strategy and ensuring safety, quality and continuous

Qualifications

• Having an HNC in a STEM discipline or equivalent engineering experience.
• Developing technical training materials, strategies and teaching/mentoring others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Great organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in virtual teams.
• Installing and jointing cables (Copper or Fibre).
• Experience with video processing and transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility.
• Creating and updating course material, including e-learning content, to align with new technologies and customer needs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Supporting the senior trainers with the development of responses to project bids.
• Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development.
